Jimmy is like a monkey.
- Not only is a monkey his favorite animal to imitate, but he jumps around like one. He climbs on top of the couch and hurls himself off and onto the floor, never with a solid landing. No matter how many times we try to explain this little "trick" could end with some major boo-boos, he shrugs us off and does it again.
- Jimmy is notorious for wrapping his legs and arms around a person when giving them a hug. It's now called a "monkey hug" and he loves to give them!
- He's always, always moving.
Jackson is like a sloth.
- Jackson is the most laid back kid I've ever met. He's not easily irritated or frustrated. He just smiles all day long.
- Jackson will cling to you when you're holding him. There's no way you could drop him to the ground with his death-tight grip.
- My sweet Jackson just loves life. He doesn't always have to be moving, but he loves to sit and watch what everyone else does. He takes his time when he's eating and never is in a big rush.
- We don't call Jackson a sloth though, because that isn't very cute. He's our little cuddlebug with sloth-like tendencies. :)
These two crack me up. Their personalities are so different, but in some ways they are the exact same. And they're growing like crazy. Just the other day I had to move all their summer clothes to boxes and pull out the fall clothes and I couldn't believe I was hanging up 3T and 4T stuff for Jimmy and 18 month stuff for Jackson.
Oh! And just to fill you all in, Jimmy's imagination is really starting to blossom. He recently named his stuffed animal that is an elephant J.P. We have NO CLUE where he got this name, but he loves J.P., Elmo and Mickey Mouse very much. They all sleep on his pillow with him and get extra hugs and kisses before bed. Little guy is really starting to take after his Mommy on that one.... :)
